Springs Made From Square-Section Wire Are Better Performers .

Springs made from square-section wire are better performers

William Hughes' new range of torsion springs formed from square-section
wire is claimed to offer better performance than similar springs made
from round-section material. The spring steel is available in a variety
of sizes up to 7mm square, and it can be formed into virtually any shape
required - according to customers' own drawings or to a design by William
Hughes, based on the customer's specification. Samples can be very
quickly made for evaluation purposes.
