Heavy case brushed dc motors join the Rotalink range
03 March 2011
Rotalink's new Heavy Case (HC series) dc brushed motors, featuring low-inertia skewed rotors with minimal detent torque, are suitable for applications requiring smooth and accurate speed control. The HC series joins a range of brushed and brushless dc and ac motors with accessories, including gearbox, motor feedback and motion controls providing output torque of up to 28Nm and linear forces in excess of 50N.

Rotalink's range includes planetary and spur gearboxes providing a choice of output torque ratings and featuring standard or ultra polymer gears on sintered or ball bearings. For extremely high torque output in very compact designs, Rotalink can offer a range of ovoid style gearboxes that combine spur and planetary gear stages providing up to 28 Nm peak torque in a gearbox case that measures just 95 mm x 60 mm x 31.5 mm deep.
Rotalink also manufactures incremental and absolute encoder feedback devices with space saving designs that are easily adapted for speed control and position feedback applications, together with motion controls such as the novel Red Drive.
