PTC announces date and venue for UK Technology Forum
23 March 2011
PTC will host its UK Technology Forum on May 12 2011 at Moor Hall, Sutton Coldfield. This free, day-long forum is designed for those interested in all aspects of product development, understanding current trends and learning how PTC’s software product, such as Windchill 10.0 and Creo, can help optimise their product development processes.
Organisations of all sizes are under pressure to get better products to market faster. The challenges of globalisation, compliance and product complexity directly affect the ability to maintain competitive advantage; and with the current challenges facing the global economy, efficient product development is more important than ever for achieving sustainable success. PTC will offer attendees solutions to overcome these challenges. Attendees are also encouraged to participate in roundtable discussions with industry leaders, experts and guest speakers.
The Forum begins at 09:00 with the introduction of PTC’s technology vision and strategy. The agenda includes customer and product presentations, topic-oriented business tracks, and a networking lunch where peers can discuss best practices for real business benefit. PTC partners, service, and technology experts will be available to discuss business challenges and solutions. Highlights include:
· Windchill 10.0 - PTC’s largest ever product release
· Creo breakthrough technologies – AnyData Adoption and AnyRole Apps
· Relex – for quality, safety and risk management
· InSight - end-to-end management of environmental compliance and content information
· Mathcad PRIME 1.0 – introduction, roadmap & demo
· Roundtable discussions with industry leaders & guest speakers
· eLearning Lab for hands-on experience with web-based training
“This year’s Technology Forum has all the key ingredients – exciting product overviews, customer content, strong networking opportunities and personal time with PTC executives and product experts,” said Kevin Asbridge, UK country manager. “In a time of ever shorter innovation cycles and a tough economic climate, direct swapping of experience and discussions on product development trends are essential. We are providing attendees with everything they need to develop solid business strategies and optimize processes to grow their businesses.”
