P+F Launch Short Length Incremental Encoder Range

01 April 2002

The highlight of Pepperl + Fuchs' stand (B64) will be the RX158
incremental encoder range. These 58mm diameter sensors are supplied in a
variety of mechanical formats, including solid, hollow and blind-hollow
shafts. The hollow shaft device has an overall length of just 30mm, which
includes an integral spring mounting plate. Both hollow and blind-hollow
shaft versions offer a clamping technique that prevents damage to the
motor shaft when being fitted.

P+F will also be showing its ML4.1 miniature photoelectric sensor series,
category 4 and IP67 rated two-, three- and four-beam safety light
curtains, and the Microwave Ident product tracking system, which can also
be used for pallet and machine tool identification.
