Sealant and threadlocker packaging simplifies manual application

20 May 2011

Where anaerobics and UV curing adhesives are concerned, the most common packages available are oval bottles or soft tubes. But when using high viscosity and highly thixotropic products these packages are not ideal for manual applications. To overcome this problem, Cyberbond now offers various sealants in cartridges and some thixotropic threadlocker products in easy to use Pump-Gel dispensers.

Applying highly thixotropic gel-like products from a dispenser is not new. But to use such a cosmetic orientated package for anaerobic adhesives and sealants is progressive. Most anaerobic threadlockers are relatively low viscosity fluids, and once the product is applied to a thread it will drip. The new gel type threadlockers from Cyberbond, such as TT44 and TT62, remain on the thread and do not drip.

Cyberbond's new dispenser makes it very easy to achieve one-hand applications of these novel gel products. After use, and when the cap has been replaced, there is no mess. Moreover, with this package there is minimal waste, with almost complete emptying of the dispenser.
