Third generation emergency stop assures the highest level of safety

IDEC's new X6 series uni-body emergency stop switch features the company's Reverse Energy Structure, which provides the highest level of safety in a compact body at a competitive price. The smooth button design prevents dirt build up and makes it ideal for hygienic applications such as food processing machines or semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The sleek design is also suitable for other applications, including medical and gymnasium equipment.

The E-Stop offers two ways to reset the switch, by 'turn' or 'pull' and is available with either a 30mm or 40mm button size in red or yellow. The switch complies with all the relevant standards, including IEC 60947-5-5; 6.2 (safety lock mechanism), IEC 60947-5-5; 5.2 & IEC 60947-5-1, Annex K (Direct Opening Action). The X6 is also UL, c-UL and EN compliant.
