Enclosures allow for smooth external membrane keypad/overlay integration

Spelsberg has introduced a range of enclosures that provide quick, aesthetically pleasing protection for electrical installations and featuring a recessed cover to allow for the flush placement of design foils and membrane keyboards. The TG range of polycarbonate enclosures offers IP67 protection and can be fully customised using the company’s in-house CNC milling and drilling service.

TG enclosures are available in nine standard sizes, each featuring a high-gloss finish and available in a choice of halogen-free ABS or tough polycarbonate material. The boxes, which are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, are available with opaque or transparent covers, as required, and can be supplied with integrated cover retainers or internal hinges; the functional design includes fast-acting closure to reduce installation times.

Both the opaque and transparent covers are recessed, which allows design foils or membrane keypads to be placed on the enclosure’s fascia, avoiding any raised edges that might otherwise snag or become damaged.

To maximise the flexibility of the TG range, Spelsberg offers a choice of wall mounting attachments as well as internal DIN rail and mounting panels. Spelsberg also offers in-house CNC modification and a full customisation service for all of its enclosures, including milling, drilling and engraving, custom cable entries, brand logos or simple instructions.
