Coiled spring pins in metric and imperial sizes

01 April 2006

Spirol Industries has added both metric and imperial standard coiled spring pins to its range, including additional lengths and diameters. In addition to these standard products, the company also offers special coiled spring pins, including headed, flared, extra-light and super-flexible versions.
Each coiled pin incorporates specific design features that eliminate pin nesting and interlocking, providing uniform distribution of compression and stresses during installation, and ensuring flexibility under loading.

The flexibility of these coiled pins usefully dampens shock during installation operations, thus avoiding hole damage. Other advantages include an ability to accommodate larger tolerances, and a clean-cut end, which enhances appearance.

For its coiled spring pins, as well as for all its other ranges, Spirol provides customers with free application and installation advice starting with an analysis of all assembly design requirements.
