Zotefoams to show its 'Azote' range at Interplas 2011
22 July 2011
Zotefoams will be showing its wide range of closed-cell foams at Interplas 2011 along with parts and components made from these materials. The company's ‘Azote’ foams are characterised by their outstanding physical performance characteristics, consistent cell size and lack of in-built stresses, properties that benefit converters and end users alike. Conductive and flame retardant variants will also be on display.

The Company’s nitrogen saturation manufacturing technology produces the world’s lowest density polyolefin, crosslinked foams and the technology is now being used to foam high performance advanced engineering plastics such as PVDF fluoropolymers and polyamide.
ZOTEK F is a range of closed cell foams based on Kynar PVDF. These products exhibit exceptional fire, smoke and toxicity performance and are used in insulation and sealing applications in aerospace, semiconductor manufacture and chemical processing. Also on display will be T-Tubes, a revolutionary pipe insulation system based on Zotek F PVDF foam, for use in clean environments in the pharmaceutical, semiconductor and chemical process industries.
ZOTEK N foams are based on polyamide (Nylon) and have a significantly higher upper operating temperature limits than most other closed-cell foams, making them ideal for composite processing and automotive 'under bonnet' sealing and insulation applications.
PebaxFoam, a new range crosslinked block foams with outstanding rebound, resilience and excellent cold temperature performance down to -40°C will also be on display.
Also featured will be microZOTE, non-crosslinked roll foam materials produced by the patented MuCell process. This extrusion manufacturing procedure utilises supercritical carbon dioxide or nitrogen as the sole blowing agent for the foam, making it exceptionally pure.
