Poole-based engineering company chosen to help inspire UK manufacturing

DP Seals, a leading UK supplier of precision rubber seals and mouldings, joins a group of companies to feature in a TV programme on modern manufacturing. The programme, produced for Executive TV, will be shown in August and September on Sky channel 166 and Freesat channel 402. Executive TV looks at the challenges and opportunities facing UK business leaders and offers inspiration, advice to entrepreneurs, start-ups and public companies on finance, marketing, sales and innovation.
As a leading global supplier of high precision custom rubber seals, gaskets and mouldings, DP Seals' products play key roles in industrial and commercial applications as diverse as Formula 1 engines and electronics, London Underground ticket machines, the Typhoon (Eurofighter) and domestic steam cleaners. It is this diversity that has enabled the company to expand its capacity and workforce through the current recession and convinced Executive TV to select the company for the programme.
The key to DP Seals success is its total commitment to customer service - working closely with its clients and helping them expand in the same period – whilst investing in new materials, manufacturing processes and in staff at all levels, from senior management to tool room apprentices.
