Wireless magnetic sensor is easy to mount and requires no physical connection

A self-sufficient wireless magnetic sensor from .steute UK & Ireland is easily mounted thanks to its M25 screw thread housing. The RF GS M25 is suitable for use at temperatures between -20°C and +65°C and uses a non-replaceable battery, which, the company claims, will outlast the mechanical life of the sensor’s one million plus operations. The IP67-rated unit transmits its 120kb/s signal via the 868mHz wireless standard to a receiver unit mounted in the control panel, no wiring needed.

Like many control devices in .steute’s ‘Wireless’ range, the radio signal can extend from a minimum of 30m (internally) to a maximum of 300m (externally) and is insensitive to interference from external sources because the signal is transmitted within 80ms.
The output signal of the multi-network-compatible RF GS M25 is easy to programme via any of .steute’s wireless receivers and the sensor can also be used in conjunction with other .steute wireless control devices – even on a single machine, as signals are transmitted together with a unique identification code.
