IDEC now offers three-year warranty for its PS5R-S power supplies

IDEC is now offering a three-year warranty as standard for its PS5R-S power supplies. The first products in the S version family of the PS5R were launched back in 2005 with the family growing in power ranges and output voltages over the past few years. The product enjoyed success in many applications, from machine control systems and refrigeration control units to highway signage and communication hub stations.
The customer acceptance of this product has delivered increasing sales year on year and the addition of the three-year warranty will add further confidence when making a comparison with other manufacturers.
The PS5R-S power supplies are available with outputs of 5Vdc, 12Vdc and 24Vdc and various power ratings from 15W to 240W. The product has over-voltage and over-current protection as standard, an adjustable voltage output, can accept ac or dc inputs, is DIN rail mountable and meets all the expected approvals.
In addition to the normal approvals such as CE, UL and CSA the 120W and 240W versions also comply with the SEMI-F47 standard.
