Miniature steel gears down to Module 0.10
06 October 2011
The increasing miniaturisation of electronic components has led to the parallel demand for smaller engineering components such as micro gears for micro assembly, electronic and medical engineering as well as model making.
The Japanese manufacturer, KHK, produces one of the most extensive ranges of stock gear types and variants and has naturally developed its size range down as well as up. And its latest introduction is a new series of standard micro spur gears from module 0.40 down to 0.10.
These steel gears are manufactured to JGMA 3 precision grade and are available in three design variants to suit the application. If the standard miniature range cannot meet the need, custom micro gears can also be specified.
All KHK gears, stock and custom, are available via the manufacturer’s European master distributor R. A. Rodriguez based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.
