Zero Clips secures future after staff buy-out

29 November 2011

Zero Clips is celebrating a successful management buy-out by its employees. As a result, four of the staff have now become directors of the company - brother and sister John and Lynn Lymer, Kvieta Dixon and Imran Munawar. All four have worked for the company for many years and embarked on the buy-out when they heard the previous owners had decided to retire and sell on the business.

Birmingham based Zero Clips, which only moved into its new Charles Henry Street premises in October 2008, has been in business since 1978 and is a manufacturer and distributor of clips and clamps for use by a huge range of industries, from automotive to white goods and agricultural to marine.

The company exports to Europe, Africa, Asia and North, Central and South America.

The new owners comment: "It's early days, but we want to increase sales and create new jobs for the Birmingham area, which will secure a bright future for us all”.
