Small, tactile pushbutton switch has horizontal stem

09 January 2012

Knitter-switch has introduced a very small, tactile pushbutton switch, completing its popular TS/TSS 4500 series. Unlike other models in the 4500 series, the TS 4533 – RA pushbutton switch has a horizontal stem making it ideal for a variety of applications that demand a very small and very robust momentary action pushbutton.

With a total height off the board of just 5.2mm, the through-hole mounting knitter-switch TS 4533-RA switch features a choice of operating actuation forces of 100, 160 or 260gf and an operating lifetime of 50,000 cycles.

Featuring a hard polyamide stem, the TS 4533-RA tactile pushbutton switch is particularly suitable as a reset switch to be operated by a pen, screwdriver or probe.

Typical applications for the knitter-switch TS 4533-RA reset switch include satellite navigation systems, PDAs, communications equipment such as modems and routers, entertainment and games consoles, television set-top boxes, medical products, home appliances and industrial control and instrumentation equipment.

Standard switches are available from a number of distributors throughout Europe. Samples are usually available on next day delivery.
