Cameron Jiskoot’s new Technology Centre opens in Tunbridge Wells
13 March 2012
A new bespoke Technology Centre in Tunbridge Wells was officially opened on March 8 2012 by Jim Wright, senior vice president and president of Cameron's Valves and Measurement Group. More than 80 staff and customers attended. The 20,000 square foot Technology Centre is a purpose-built facility and centre of excellence for Cameron’s sampling and blending technologies and systems. It houses two 10-tonne capacity gantry cranes, transported by road to the site.
Cameron made significant strategic investments into the Jiskoot brand in 2008, including the new centre, when it acquired the family-run business, now also celebrating over 50 successful years of business serving the oil and gas industry.
Jiskoot, known throughout the world for its specialist high performance measurement and blending systems for crude oil, condensate and LNG, recently moved with all its existing staff from its original location a few miles away in Tunbridge Wells. Thanks to recent significant growth, the company is now employing more staff and is taking on apprentices.
Mark Jiskoot, General Manager of Cameron’s sampling and blending operations and son of the brand’s founder ‘Beer’ Jiskoot remarked “Lots of people have worked over many years to make our success and this new facility a reality and we thank them for their efforts and passion.”
