Gems showcases new pressure, level and valve products
09 January 2007
Readers are reminded that the popular sensors, measurement and instrumentation exhibition, mtec, takes place at the NEC on February 14 and 15 2007. You can pre-register for this event at www.mtecexhibition.co.uk
Enhancements to its new 3100 and 3200 pressure sensors, a new level gauge, and a new miniature solenoid valve will be the key exhibits from Gems Sensors & Controls at this hyear’s show. New connection options have been added to the already comprehensive range available for the compact 3100 and 3200 sensors. Gems is adding an EN 175301-803 (ex DIN 43650 A) electrical connector, providing customers with a cable gland entry for cable sizes from 4mm to 8mm with large screw connection to the terminals and cable versions. In addition, pressure switch versions of the 3100 and 3200 will be on show, as well as new millivolt output models in flanged or threaded configurations.
The ExOsense non-intrusive liquid level gauge (pictured) measures the level of fluid materials in plastic containers from outside the vessel, eliminating any chance of contamination. Designed for in-vitro diagnostics, the ExOsense uses piezo resonant technology to measure level with very accurate, very repeatable results. The sensor has a very small footprint, and can used with almost any size and shape of vessel, from small bottles to large tanks, and most plastic materials.
The Chem-S is a miniature solenoid valve manufactured to order from inert materials. It incorporates revolutionary diaphragm technology in a low-cost, compact, isolation valve package that is compatible with most liquids. OEM customers can specify: voltage, flow, and wattage criteria; a wide range of diaphragm materials; different flow orifices for low and higher pressure applications; and multiple mounting and port configurations.
