Mechanical struts prove their worth in heavy weight duties

04 April 2012

As interest grows in its mechanical struts (mStruts) offering, Associated Spring has launched a new range of mStruts to complete the current range, including high quality gas struts and all-stainless steel units. In particular, the company has had a high level of success with applications involving manhole covers, inspection covers/panels and refrigerated vehicles, where low maintenance, repeatable loads and temperature extremes are a concern.

Recently, Associated Spring has been working closely with automotive, foundry and commercial vehicle businesses on numerous bespoke engineering projects, pushing the boundaries to meet customer’s specific needs.

With their proven long life, mStruts provide a more suitable alternative to gas struts across a range of similar applications.

With over 70,000 stock items and new ranges of 316 stainless steel springs, Associated Spring is confident that it can continue to meet customer’s needs, no matter how big or how small the project.
