Rockwell Automation continues its investment in Turkey with the establishment of an industrial automation, motion control and safety laboratory at Istanbul Technical University. Rockwell opened an office in Turkey in 1997. Rockwell Automation Turkey, which attaches great importance to the development of software in the automation sector, produces not only control software but also management, production, planning, optimisation, quality and performance software.

In 2011, Rockwell Automation headquarters recognised Rockwell Automation Turkey as the fastest growing country. Rockwell Turkey General Manager Cenk Ceylan said that they had increased investments in Turkey as a result of this distinction and recognition.
“With the growth performance we have achieved, Rockwell Automation Turkey became the center of attention at our global headquarters and was rewarded as the fastest growing country. The automation systems we have developed can be integrated into different systems and different brands in Turkey. Thus, we offer both a cost advantage to our customers and provide services for all needs.
"In Turkey, we first began our operations by providing services to global brands. And since 2008, we have been providing service to the important local brands of Turkey. Among our key customers are world’s giants such as Coca Cola, Good Year, P&G, Nestle and Unilever. As a result of our hard work, we received the approval of our headquarters in the USA to donate a $600,000 laboratory to ITU,” Mr. Ceylan said.
