Pressure transmitters for heavy-duty hydraulics applications

01 November 2012

A range of stainless steel welded pressure transmitters for heavy-duty hydraulics applications is now available from Impress Sensors & Systems. The 17.600 G range features a stainless steel housing, pressure port and diaphragm and requires no O-ring seals.

The transmitters can operate in temperatures from -40 deg C to + 125 deg C, making them ideal for heavy duty OEM hydraulics applications, including mobile hydraulics equipment, off-highway and construction vehicles, heavy duty hydraulic presses, geotechnical testing machinery and other applications where high pressure hydraulic rams or cylinders are used.

The sensors offer high over-pressure (typically three times the nominal pressure rating) and so are ideal for use on mobile hydraulics equipment and heavy duty hydraulic presses, where pressure spikes or peaks are likely to occur.

The 17.600 G is available in nominal pressure ranges from 0-6bar up to 0-600bar. Vibration and shock resistance is 20g (according to DIN EN 60068-2-6) and 500g (according to DIN EN 60068-2-27) respectively. Standard output is 2-wire, 4-20mA, with optional 3-wire, 0-10V or 3-wire ratiometric.
