Compact new subrack features robust construction for industrial applications

Pentair Equipment Protection has introduced a compact new Schroff subrack that has been specifically designed for use in industrial applications.
The europacPRO Industrial subrack features a robust aluminium constructionthat provides excellent mechanical stability to protect the electronic systems mounted within it, such as printed circuit boards (PCBs) or plug-in units.
Fully compatible with the IEC 60297-3-101 and IEEE 1101.1 standards for the mechanical design of 19in. systems, the subrack is 3U high, 28 HP wide and 205mm deep and is easily attached to a wall or mounting plate using the integral side-panel brackets.
It comes in two different versions - allowing either direct mounting of a backplane or the use of DIN 41612/EN 60603-2 connectors - and can be specified with or without a rear panel.
The subrack is unshielded as standard but can be supplied with application-specific EMC shielding on request. In addition, Pentair Equipment Protection offers a modification service for variations such as custom cut-outs, printing or painting.
The europacPRO Industrial subrack is available in kit form from stock or fully assembled to customers' specifications by expert technicians at Pentair Equipment Protection, and there are no minimum order quantities.
