Vandal resistant swinghandle for mechanical or electrical access control

EMKA’s new 1317 single cylinder swinghandle has successfully passed the WK2 DIN VENV 1630 test (RC2 resistance class 2 for vandal resistance and is available for profile half cylinders (40 or 45mm) as well as for specialist KABA cylinders.

The 1317 is intended for outdoor use where it offers up to IP65 protection as well as a grey anti-graffiti coating for installations such as energy utility substations in environments from -30°C to +80°C.

Mechanical operation can readily be converted to electronic activation if required, e.g. in conjunction with EMKA’s ELM access control and monitoring system.
