When fitting out the internals of specialist vehicles, flexibility is particularly important as each will have its own unique structure and configuration.
From rescue vehicles to mobile libraries and bank vehicles, the MiniTec modular profile system offers endless opportunities when designing the internal fittings and fixtures of these specialist vehicles.
Special vehicle constructors as well as professional body construction experts are making use of the popular MiniTec system, particularly the size 30 profile with a full range of connectors and components that have been successfully proven in many applications for practicality and flexibility.
Despite the fact that installation is fast and straightforward, MiniTec’s profile system assemblies are extremely resilient, individually configurable and easy to modify.
Organisation in specialist vehicles is vital. From keeping books in a mobile library to placing equipment in emergency rescue cars or tools in a service vehicle – it’s very important to reach all stored parts quickly and conveniently.
The demands on specialist vehicles manufacturers are multi-faceted. Countless items have to be stowed away safely, always considering the organisation and ergonomics of access. Therefore every vehicle fit-out is unique, since ideal configurations are not available as standard from the vehicle manufacturer.
An excellent solution to this problem is offered by MiniTec with its modular and flexible aluminium profile system which allows innumerable configuration options to suit a all types of fit-out applications.
The flexible and cost-effective construction system is based on established MiniTec aluminium profiles with corresponding connectors and components. All MiniTec components are high-quality, well designed and easy to use for modular construction, having been well established within industry several decades.
The profile system is often used for special vehicle construction, as well as to equip garages and service facilities. It is also suitable for custom-fitted construction of vehicles which are used by rescue organisations, fire-fighters, sales organisations or garages.
In addition, food stalls, demonstration vehicles, mobile bank branch vehicles, drivable libraries or transport vehicles for motorsport can also be equipped with an individual interior.
Easy extension with profile system
The MiniTec modular profile system is based on different profile sections, corresponding components and accessory elements. Due to reduced weight and light form of the series 30 profiles, they are ideal for solutions in limited construction space and suitable for vehicle re-fit; the most used profiles with sections of are 30x60, 30x23, 23x23, and 23x16 millimetres.
For mounting utility vehicles, the slim aluminium profiles are an interesting alternative. The weight of the 30x30 profile is only 0,641 kg/m and each profile is available in lengths up to 6 m. Thanks to the same DIN-M8-groove, all standard profiles can be freely combined.
All components and accessories can be used for every profile. For the profiles series 30, MiniTec also offers the well-known and patented power-lock fastener 30 for joining profiles together, as well as zinc plated mitre connectors for angle connections of 45° to 135°. The use of DIN screws and nuts makes the system cost-effective and economical.
The MiniTec modular profile system gives the user space for creativity, with the clever connection methods and accessories. The unique and patented power lock fastener requires no profile modification and is easily adjustable. Assembly is straightforward and time saving.
