Camlock introduces durable miniature switchlock range

16 June 2013

Camlock Systems has introduced a range of miniature switchlocks, including single pole and double pole types, with options on head profile and key combinations.

The miniature switchlocks have been successfully tested in excess of 20,000 cycles. They are V0 fire resistant, are able to operate in a temperature of -20°C to +65°C and the switches are rated for currents up to 5A at 115Vac.

The locks offer full functionality through Camlock’s proven Series 21 locking mechanism. They come in ultra compact proportions, boasting an overall body length of just over 3cm and a small 16mm x 13mm mounting hole size.

The new locks can be specified keyed alike or keyed to differ and up to 200 different key combinations are available. They are available with the key either trapped or free in the locked position.

Camlock Systems is also able to supply these switchlocks to the 801 and 901 key combinations popular in certain industries. The range comes with a five disc tumbler mechanism for good security and the key has a double-sided design for user convenience.

The 2111 single and 2115 double pole lock have a conventional conical head. Additionally, a parallel head type that is ideal for recessed apertures such as those used on plastic moulded doors is available for the 2110 single and 2114 double pole lock.
