Carpanelli brings special and customised motors to the UK
25 June 2013
Microvert, the new mini variable speed motor, provides industry with a taster of what’s in store now that Carpanelli has established a base in the UK.

This respected Italian manufacturer of electric motors has many standard products in its range, but is also able to provide special designs.
Whilst there are motors on the market with integrated frequency inverters, few accommodate the inverter within the standard dimensions of the motor. Carpanelli's new Microvert does, savings on space, weight and price. Microvert is also energy efficient, generates minimal heat and is very quiet in operation.
With powers from 0.01kW to 0.2kW and available in IEC frame sizes 56 and 63, Microvert gives system designers the option to use a compact, asynchronous motor powered directly from a single phase line.
The motor is suitable for applications that call for high start-up torque and controlled acceleration/deceleration, such as conveyors.
Some 60 percent of Carpanelli’s product output is for special or customised units, and every element of the motor is either made by Carpanelli or obtained from within the EU.
The new UK division of the company is headed by Adrian Hall, a mechanical engineer who has been associated with Carpanelli for more than 20 years.
