New drives series from Bosch Rexroth

07 July 2013

Bosch Rexroth has unveiled its new series of variable frequency drives for general automation, materials handling, pumps, fans and conveyors. The launch marks Rexroth’s first foray into an ‘off-the-shelf’ product range.

Featuring both PID and sequence control, the EFC 3600 series allows load dependent adjustment of the voltage and frequency curve, extending motor service life.

A high intermittent overload capacity of up to 200 percent, as well as high initial torque of up to 150 percent, means that the new drives can be adapted for a wide range of uses including both heavy duty and energy-saving applications.

Initially designed for applications in the 370W to 4kW range, the EFC 3600 also features integrated brake choppers and mains filters.

An easy-to-use, removable control panel and compact design allow quick and easy installation and configuration.
