Modular stock lubrication system is easily upgraded for different applications

21 April 2006

EFD’s MicroCoat MC800 stock lubrication system uses Low Volume Low Pressure (LVLP) technology to evenly coat stock from less than 25 mm up to 1220 mm wide with a fine, consistent film of oil that prevents tool damage while reducing lube consumption up to 70%.

To give stampers maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness, the MicroCoat MC800 system features a modular design that allows it to be configured for current job requirements, and easily upgraded to meet future needs.

The compact MC800 controller cabinet can accommodate 2 manifolds, each holding up to 4 flow controls that provide extremely precise adjustment of oil flow, especially at lower pressures.

With both manifolds fully loaded, a single MC800 system can regulate 8 MicroCoat valves and coat stock up to 1220 mm wide on one side, or stock up to 610 mm wide on both sides. In addition, the dual-manifold design gives stampers the flexibility to apply two different lubricants with the same system.
