Schroff offers cases for non-standard PCB sizes

Schroff's Interscale M range of cases (illustrated) offer an alternative to the 19in industry standard to include cases for small and non-standardised PCBs.

The IP30 cases comprise four parts that can be easily assembled and dismantled with two screws. A total of 21 case sizes are available direct from stock. EM interference protection is provided by the interlocking case walls and offers some 20dB at up to 2GHz.
A wide range of standard accessories, such as flexible board fixing, various add-on feet, a range of fans and fixing elements, allows the user to integrate their electronics quickly and simply. Removable front and rear elements give easy access to the electronics.
These cases can customised in terms of colour, cut-outs and printing on the front and rear panels.
Meanwhile, the company has increased the static load bearing capability of its Varistar server cabinets to 1600 kg and has added new accessory parts for extra functionality and flexibility, including an option for fitting socket strips in the rear part of the cabinet.
The range of Varistar covers for air baffling has also been adapted to the newly strengthened design and offers new options. Hot and cold air is efficiently separated, regardless of where in the cabinet the 19in plane is positioned.
