ARRK now offers greater prototyping capability and material choice
27 July 2014
Such has been the demand for its services this year, ARRK’s Prototyping centre in Gloucester has invested in additional high spec 3D SLA machines.
Production has increased significantly at the Gloucester site and is set to continue well into the future. “With demand at an all-time high, the three additional SLA 7000 3D Systems machines will ensure we can continue to meet customer demand”, commented Craig Vickers, ARRK’s European RP Operations Director.
As well as increasing the number of SLA machines to 15 at its Gloucester site, ARRK also used this opportunity to review the range of materials it had on offer to its clients. The Accura Si25 and Xtreme resins have been added to ARRK's range.
The Accura Si25, which is white in appearance, offers ABS type characteristics, while the Xtreme is grey looking and offers improved strength. ARRK now boasts nine different SLA resins in total.
