Essex based Goss Springs is a family run business with over 65 years designing and manufacturing industrial springs, press parts and multi slide tooling.

The diversity and range of products designed and made is impressive – from 0.1mm stainless steel gold plated section wire forms for use in microsurgery to substantial precision torsional coil spring devices used in aircraft ejector seat mechanisms, the range of applications and solutions provided by the company is virtually limitless.

From tiny coil springs used in the switching mechanism of electronic micro switches to bearing raceways used in windscreen wiper actuators, Goss Springs has a wealth of experience in the Aerospace, Electronics, Defence, Medical and Automotive industries

Goss Springs offers a unique capability to design to a customer specification virtually any type of compression, tension, and torsion, conical or wafer springs, wire shapes or press parts and multislide components to suit the envelope and design criteria of the client.

The company has a highly vertical integrated manufacturing capability – not just turning, bending and shaping components but also heat treatment, grinding, barrelling, stress relieving, calibration and tooling.

In a world often dominated by standard and the notion of “you can have any colour you want, so long as it is black, Goss Springs have the design and manufacturing capability to ensure that the customers need are met with the appropriate design and material backed up by approvals from all of the relevant industry standards.

Why have what can be offered 'off the shelf' when you can have bespoke, manufactured exactly as you want it.
