WEG has welcomed Quantum Controls to its distribution network. Quantum Controls will now supply WEG’s products to its customer base throughout the UK.

A 1.5 MW variable speed drive (VSD) is now available for hire from VSD hire specialist Quantum Controls. Manufactured by ABB, the 1.5MW, 2.7kA VSD is the largest in the UK available for hire and sets a new milestone in Quantum’s growing hire business. The drive was added following a growing demand from OEMs and end-users alike which have a variety of uses for a hire drive of this capacity, from testing through to breakdown or simply to try before they buy.
