Carlo Gavazzi has launched its latest range of compact single-phase power supplies. The SPME range offers four width sizes, starting from a narrow 17.5mm wide 15W design, to a maximum of 100W output with a width of only 70mm.

Carlo Gavazzi has launched the DUA55 a single-phase relay for detection of incorrect mains voltage. It is designed to meet the specific requirements set out in the IET Wiring Regulations, BS7671:2018, to ensure that all new EV charge points are electrically safe.

The electrical safety of EV charging points is critical. A common approach to providing protection against a damaged protective earth and neutral (PEN) conductor is to use earth rods. However, by installing a simple relay, it is possible to protect against a damaged PEN simply, cheaply and without the need for additional earthing, says William Darby, Managing Director of Carlo Gavazzi UK.
