Marzocchi's new ELIKA gear pump, which is sold and supported in the UK by JBJ Techniques, is suitable for all applications that require low noise levels. Noise levels are reduced by an average of 15dBA compared with a conventional external gear pump. The ELI2 is the first in the new range and includes pumps with displacements from 7 to 35cm3/revolution. The ELI2 is interchangeable with the standard gear pumps ALP2 and GHP2 series.

Hydraulic pressure intensifiers are used world wide in new as well as existing hydraulic systems, where a higher end pressure than supplied by the pump system is needed. In existing systems the use is typically for increasing the pressure for a sub function such as feeding a clamping circuit on a machine tool, or to allow high pressure tooling to be operated directly from the standard hydraulic system.

JBJ Techniques can now offer reduced length gear pumps supplied as two- or three-part modular configurations with various options of flange, shaft, inlet and outlet ports.
