    BCAS urges industry to pressure test their compressed air system with latest training course(12/03/2021)

    The British Compressed Air Society is urging the industry to ensure that all employees that are responsible for maintaining compressed air systems are fully trained on the requirements of the Pressure Systems’ Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR), and in particular, the importance of the written scheme of examination.

    Colin Mander is appointed president of the British Compressed Air Society(08/12/2010)

    Colin Mander (pictured), managing director of Gardner Denver (CompAir) UK and Ireland, has been appointed president of the British Compressed Air Society (BCAS). His appointment coincides with the society’s 80th anniversary year. Commenting on his role, Mr Mander said: “Eighty years on, BCAS still plays an important part in promoting the safe and efficient use of compressed air across a broad spectrum of industries, both here in the UK and overseas.
