Axair now offer a 120x120x38mm frame axial fan with EC (Electronically Commutated) technology. 

Axair Fans now offers the Fandis new generation of 'FF' filter fans designed for electrical enclosures and control panels. The fixation system has been improved in order to accommodate thicker steel plates (up to 8mm), while still offering the fast assembly ‘click-fit’ system with elastic hooks. The filter media is more easily accessible by manual removal of the front cover with no need for tools.

Ventilating electrical enclosures can be a problem, especially when an efficient airflow is to be combined with a high IP rating (IP54 or IP55). Several methods are available, such as using door mounted filtered fans designed to provide cooling air that is free of both dust and moisture. Occasionally, there is little room in the control panel for the fan at the back of the filter. Roof mounted extraction units using backward curved centrifugal fans can be used, but these are limited to IP24.
