Norbar Torque Tools has introduced the HandtorqueT HT-92 and Handtorque HT-119 gearboxes for bolt tightening in confined spaces. Both combine new materials, better traceability and are the newest additions to Norbar’s new Compact Series of Handtorque multipliers.

Norbar Torque Tools has released a new App as a free iPhone and Android download. Based on its online Torque Wrench Extension Calculator, the new App will calculate what value you need to set on a torque wrench to achieve the desired level of torque when the wrench is extended. Putting an extension on a torque wrench increases the level of torque being applied to a fastener – the longer the wrench, the greater the torque.

Norbar Torque Tools has launched a handy torque conversion calculator as a free download on Android and iPhone systems. Similar to the calculator featured at www.norbar.com, the new app offers instant conversion across a full range of SI, metric and Imperial Units. Three different systems of measurement are all widely used and this app will make instant calculations between them from the largest to the smallest scales of measurement.
