Professor Higgs looking forward to the discovery

Seen talking earlier this year when he received the Edinburgh Award 2011, Professor Peter Higgs, Emeritus Professor at the University of Edinburgh, explained what it would mean to him if scientists at CERN confirmed the existence of the Higgs boson. Professor Higgs developed his theory of the particle that bears his name when he was a researcher at the University in the early 1960s.
