Freshwater mountains: an adventure in 3D simulation

06/07/2012

Potable water is a rare resource in many countries. However, there are gigantic reservoirs of fresh water that have yet to be exploited: icebergs. Each year, tens of thousands of icebergs are adrift in the polar regions, all destined to melt into the oceans’ salt waters.
